The CLEAN in CleanSpa
Sterilization
Our implements go through a thorough sterilization process.
1. Implements are first scrubbed by hand with warm soapy water
2. Then, they are placed into an ultrasonic machine that uses hospital-grade disinfectant and high frequencies to knock away additional debris
3. Finally, the implements are placed into an autoclave. This device uses compressed steam to destroy any surviving bacteria and viruses.
General Cleaning Policy
Many whirlpool jet systems harbor dead skin buildup and bacteria. Improper cleaning of tubs, floors, and towels can cause a host of problems for clients and technicians. Our tubs have a magnetic jet system. We are able to remove these devices and clean them in an ultrasonic machine which removes debris and fully sanitizes the entire mechanism. Our towels are professionally cleaned in 120 degree water. You can be sure that we have destroyed any sign of fungus before opening our doors.
Dedicated Medical Treatment Areas
Clients with fungal nail infections or other medical conditions can be treated in a fully functional and aesthetic treatment area that is set apart from the cosmetic clientele. This enables our clients to never have to worry again about inadvertent exposure to affected surfaces.
Procedure and Protocol
Sterilized tools are presented to each client within a sealed pouch. These implements are then placed on a clean surface and only used on one client before moving through a thorough sterilization process. All implements that are unable to be sterilized are discarded at the end of the service.
