Michael H. Horwitz, DPM

Dr. Horwitz is a board certified podiatrist by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons fellow, and master surgeon and instructor for GraMedica International and SafetyFix Medical Technologies. As the former residency director of DePaul Surgical Residency Program and medical director of MidCounty Surgery Center, Dr. Horwitz specializes in surgical procedures considered to be at the forefront of the field. While a majority of his work concentrates on bunion, forefoot and flat foot correction, Dr. Horwitz has also spent a good portion of his career perfecting non-surgical techniques for heel pain treatment. He founded Feet for Life Podiatry Companies in 1991, including Feet for Life Podiatry Centers, MidCounty Surgery Center and CleanSpa, and is passionate about developing longtime relationships with his patients and seeing how his work positively impacts the lives of others.

Nirali Shah, DPM

Dr. Shah is a doctor of podiatric medicine and a board qualified reconstructive rearfoot and ankle specialist by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Shah specializes in both non-surgical and surgical treatments of the foot and ankle with specific emphasis on bunion correction, ankle pain, flatfoot correction, and tendonitis. As a former chief resident, Dr. Shah recognizes the importance of building strong patient relationships with high quality communication in order to achieve optimal treatment results. As a former podiatry patient herself, Dr. Shah applies a compassionate and informative approach to her practice which allows her patients to better understand their condition and collaboratively formulate a treatment plan that’s best for their specific needs.
