Our focus is on the detail, ensuring you receive the best quality services and treatments while also feeling pampered and indulged.
Dr. Michael Horwitz, podiatrist and foot surgeon, launched the first CleanSpa in St. Louis in February of 2012. The concept of CleanSpa evolved after Dr. Horwitz realized a need in the market for a Spa dedicated to the health, as well as the appearance, of the hands and feet. To deliver the spectrum of expertise CleanSpa reflects, Dr. Horwitz employs an expert team of Nail Technicians, Foot Specialists and onsite therapists.
The surroundings are just as important as the services offered at CleanSpa. The newly completed spa has a clean, functional and minimalist interior, with preeminent standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Medical-grade products are used and implements are surgically sterilized for all CleanSpa services.
For those living with diabetes and immune-suppressed conditions, CleanSpa offers a safe haven for these conditions. Dr. Horwitz, owner of Feet for Life Podiatry Centers and the AAAHC certified MidCounty Surgery Center, has decades of experience in managing optimum treatment environments.

Cancellation Policy
CleanSpa has a 24-hour Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy for Spa Services and a 48-hour Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy for Medical Pedicures. If an appointment is missed, canceled, or changed with less than required notice, it is at CleanSpa’s discretion to charge a fee based on 100% of the service scheduled.
Spa Policy
Due to the nature of our scheduling, we ask clients to arrive 5 minutes early for a given appointment. If a client arrives more than 10 minutes late, an appointment may require modification or rebooking. In the event of a missed appointment, the client will be responsible for the full cost of service.
CleanSpa added a 3.25% service fee on all services that went into effect in October 2021. This is due to the sharp inflation of our supplies and products.
Membership Policies
Monthly Memberships are non-transferrable and may not be partially used. If a partial Membership Service is used on a given appointment day, the remaining portion will be forfeited and cannot be applied to future appointments. Upgrades to a Monthly Membership are possible when notice is given at the time of booking. The client will be charged the difference in service fees.
Refunds
If you are unsatisfied with your service, please call and schedule a complimentary redo within seven days for gel polish services and three days for all other services. CleanSpa completed services are non-refundable. You may cancel or exchange a service of equal or less value if requested before 24 hours of the booked appointment. We strive to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction. In the event that CleanSpa services have not met an expectation, CleanSpa will offer a follow-up visit or a consultation with our on-site podiatrist, to ensure an optimal outcome.

We accept the following payment methods: Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover. No cash, check, or insurance payment is accepted. Cash gratuities may be given directly to your service provider.
